Are 7.8 lakh cars stuck?

Automobile Dealers Association FADA has released a shocking news. It has been said that the sales of passenger vehicles used by the public have stagnated to a great extent. The organization has listed 7.8 lakh cars as unsold for 70-75 days. Its value alone is 77,800 crore rupees. Car sales fell by 4.53% in August as manufacturers continued to import and unload cars. Due to heavy rains and lack of interest among customers to buy cars, sales of cars have decreased significantly.

The same organization had said that 7 lakh 30 thousand cars were not sold last July. In this situation, Maruti Suzuki has said that the number of days it does not sell its cars has reduced from 38 to 36. According to FADA organization, people prefer to buy bikes and 3-wheelers, while sales of cars and tractors are facing a major decline.

People are not interested in buying cars as the crops have been damaged in many places due to heavy rains and the yield has been affected and many people have lost. It is also expected that the sales of cars in the cities will increase in the coming days as the festive days like Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam and Navratri are coming in the following days.
